Burton + Burton buys Pacific Rim trademark

By Maria Weiskott -- Home Accents Today, 6/1/2007

Burton + Burton has purchased Pacific Rim's customer list and trademark, as well as the domain names for the now defunct company's Web sites. The assets of Seattle-based Pacific Rim, valued at some $18 million, were sold earlier this month at an onsite and online auction.

A spokesman for Burton + Burton said the company was in the process of notifying all employees about the purchase. He added that the company would shortly be in contact with former Pacific Rim customers.

Burton + Burton, a supplier of balloons, floral accessories and coordinating gifts, operates permanent showrooms in Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago.
