Home Accents Today is offering an inside look at the most recent product designs to hit the summer markets, beginning with Dallas this month. The following pages include an alphabetical listing by company of what's new in the world of home decor this season, as well as a list of shows for each vendor. We will publish many more of these listings in our July and August issues to correspond with our vendors' show schedules. Based on featured product, companies are segmented by category in the vendor directory for easy reference.

AA Importing

Part of the Great Home Collection, AA Importing draws on vintage styling in the two-door wooden cabin with scalloped skirt. A delicate, hand-painted floral design completes the nostalgic effect ($220). A traditional transferware teaset for two evokes the charm of English teatime and includes teapot, sugar, creamer, tray and two cups and saucers ($135).

Accent Decor

Antiqued mercury glass highlights the oversize silhouette of Accent Decor's new Esther vases, ranging in height from 24 to 32 inches ($60 to $200). The Moonbeam Collection casts a shimmering glow on glass with iridescent striped detailing on fluted neck forms ($10 to $49).

Beatriz Ball

Inspired by windswept dunes and the irregular effects of the elements on natural forms, Beatriz Ball's Vento Collection of freeform bowls debuts in Dallas (small, $43; large, $70). Also new for this market is the Chambord Collection, highlighting a fresh, more casual take on opulent French Baroque design ($105 to $125).

Bella Rose by Chateau

Crisp bands of ivory form a border on soothing eucalyptus linen to create the clean-lined Melbourne Collection from Bella Rose by Chateau (queen, $990; king, $1,190). Chocolate linen cording and abalone shell buttons complete the serene ensemble. Continuing with the theme of transitional neutrals, the company introduces Antigua, a casual oatmeal and ivory linen collection accented with coconut shell buttons (queen, $990; king, $1,190). On the opposite end of the spectrum, the formal Baron ensemble complements a black medallion motif with gold silk, rust colored lattice and tassel trim for a look that's steeped in tradition (queen, $1,590; king, $1,940).

Cape Craftsmen

A row of four candle holders illuminates three rustic metal fish as they seem to swim in sync ($30). The collection from Cape Craftsmen also includes a single fish sconce ($10).

Carruth Studio

Twisting tree branches spread across the stone concrete surface of Carruth Studio's Hidden Beauty garden plaque, parting to reveal an inspirational message ($28). Other new pieces in the company's Expressions Collection include family focused designs, like Our Life Together and A Blissful Home, as well as three seasonal plaques ($29 to $34).

CBK

Woven rattan surrounds a central medallion, lending a warm Mediterranean feel to a round metal accent table from CBK ($220). Shots of rust accentuate the stamped design on a low relief bronze wall panel ($150). Highlighting a hand-painted Tuscan scene, a distressed folding wine table with glass and bottle storage brings a taste of the Old Country to entertaining ($200). Faux leather urn wall hangings are framed by scrolling filigree corner brackets, echoing the pair's classic appeal ($250).

Clay Metal & Stone

Texture and flow is at the center of the Corkscrew Wall Grille design, which features a central woven pattern unraveling into free flowing rays ($258). Bringing a modern edge to coastal settings, the Clamdigger Collection of wide round vases and exaggerated tall vases are handcrafted from red terra cotta clay and finished with a tone-on-tone shell motif and textured surfacing ($98 to $ 207). Shells and starfish are skewered by rippling iron wire to create the South Seas Shell Finials ($158, set of three).

Cole River

Capturing the building intensity of a tropical storm, clear streaks cut through cloudy glass in Cole River's swirling Storm vases. Also debuting are a pair of bamboo stools and a collection of black and white vases, which includes both ornate and pared-down linear designs.

Dale Tiffany

Graduated cylindrical slices of 24% lead solid crystal form the base of a contemporary table lamp from Dale Tiffany, with a woven grey and white barrel shade ($200). From the Antiques Roadshow Collection, a traditional brass and crystal candlestick style with intricately embroidered and beaded shade debuts ($200). In classic Tiffany style, an Arts and Crafts-influenced art glass table lamp rounds out the new offerings ($350).

Department 56

The Rose Beauty wall plaque is part of its Timeless Tranquility triptych. When displayed with its counterparts — Spring Blossom and Iris in Bloom — the art nouveau style resin panel completes a harmonious floral landscape ($225 each).

East of Eden

Those looking to add some tropical flavor to their summer stock need look no further than this bamboo and orchid wrapped frosted glass votive from East of Eden ($38). The company's unique recycled newspaper vases will be making headlines ($30 to $38), as Asian-flavored Zen vases imbue cluttered lives with a sense of harmony ($16 to $32).

Gail Pittman

New this season from Gail Pittman is a leaf platter and small leaf dish set available in Seafoam and Paprika glazes (dish, $17; platter, $38). The company also will debut a hand-painted holly platter and holly dish as part of its Hollylujah Collection (dish, $25; platter, $50).

Glass Nuvo

Irregular black and white circles float across the two-tone red and blue surfaces of a mouth-blown art glass vase and bowl from Glass Nuvo (vase, $253; bowl, $245). The company also debuts its Lilac Collection, which fuses swirling bands of purple, blue, yellow, red and clear glass (vase, $264; bowl, $258).

Home Trends and Design

Demonstrating that salvaged materials and sophistication can coexist, Home Trends and Design debuts an elegant reclaimed teak pedestal table. Also new from the company are a rustic, plank top kitchen island made from plantation grown acacia wood ($1,295) and a mango wood Spanish Colonial style square dining table with turned legs($1,295).

Hubbardton Forge

Modern, artisan-style designs premier in the Elements, Exos and Almost Infinity collections. Simplicity reigns in a cylindrical table lamp finished in Sierra patina copper with duet shade ($505). Nested shades lend an optical appearance to the Exos Double Shade pendant, featuring glass diffuser and hand-forged wrought iron ($600). The Almost Infinity table lamp plays on the classic infinity symbol with sculptural flair in hand-forged wrought iron ($530).

Illume

Offered in 23 signature colors and fragrances, Illume's Twenty-Three Collection of soy-based candles come with signature embossed lids in a spicy mix of scents from Pomegranate to Patchouli ($21 each). Also available in a metallic tin version, the pint-sized candles feature a window lid to showcase the candle ($6 to $11).

Intrada

New designs premier in the Roma Oro and the Palazzio Collections. Elegant hand-made ceramic pitchers and decorative clam shells receive a sleek update in gold and silver leaf ($78 to $195). The Palazzio bowl displays classic Tuscan motifs on painted ceramics, embellished with pewter bunches of grapes ($375).

Kichler

The Urbana table lamp is expressed in oversize scale, finished in espresso with burnished copper accents in a geometric design ($289). The Tiffany wall sconce features stone and art glass accents in an Old Bronze finish ($275). The Mosaic wall sconce expands on the popularity of the existing Tiffany mosaics with art glass in an assortment of hues ($99).

Labs

An arid arrangement of small white blooms, dry grass and thistles is accentuated by a distressed clay vessel with hanging ring handles. Other introductions from Labs include a pared-down arrangement of thin cattails in a ribbed cylindrical vase; a combination of thistles and greenery in a blue and brown glazed bottle-like vase; and a grouping of cream and rust blossoms in an aged metal container.

Lite Source

Lamps premiering this season includes Giovanni, a mosaic-patterned design in shimmering shades of amber and bronze ($179) and Ambrato, a rusted bronze torchiere with amber sand-finished glass shade ($333). Rotin pairs a polished steel pole with a walnut wood-finished base and rattan outer shade ($159).

The Merchant Source

The Merchant Source's Le Chambre lamp features a sleek black base topped with an asymmetrical shade for a stylish slant ($90). Other introductions include a white resin angel sculpture on black faux leather base ($100) and a white resin Kiss vase with an unusual raised lip motif ($30).

Midwest

Colonial Candle introduces 11 fragrances, including refreshing Green Mango, rich Red Velvet cake and Indian Summer ($2 to $23). All fragrances are available in a variety of forms, including the new Madison jar, oval jar, votives, tealights and simmer snaps. The company's Garden Critters Collection also will be making its debut, offering a range of cute terra cotta and ceramic garden creatures in a moss-like finish ($7 to $35).

Mud Pie

Beach and holiday-themed designs debut from Mud Pie. In the Sanibel Collection, introductions include Starfish cocktail picks, Seahorse cocktail picks, Starfish linen coasters and salt and pepper shakers, Shell salad server set with natural shell handles, Seahorse wine cooler and bottle topper, and Turtle dinner napkins. Traditional red and green highlights the Christmas Collection offerings, such as the Falala platter, Holly Jolly dessert plate, Bitzen bottle opener, Ho Ho candle, Blitzen platter, Santa Cocktail sticks and Evan coasters and wine glasses.

Murray Feiss

The new Tres Chic Belle Fleur Collection embodies 18th century antique Chippendale and Adams-style chandeliers with bell flower decorative chain links, double-frame mirrors and deeply carved translucent fonts. Finished in Firenze Gold, the line includes a 12-light chandelier and illuminated wall bracket. Part of the Elizabeta Boulevard Collection, an eight-sided lantern debuts with openwork backplate and fluted detailing on die-cast cage reminiscent of European antiques.

NDI

A vibrant selection of botanical bouquets debuts in the French Courtyard Collection. A contemporary arrangement of allium, mum and sweetpea showcases elegantly chic style in a tapered cube vase ($272). Tulip, lily and allium create a more traditional bouquet, complemented by a cloisonne style vase ($352). Finally, a fiery-hued mix of wildflowers set off a classic urn vase ($518).

Now Designs

Now Designs introduces the Japanese-inspired Ume pillow and table runner. Bold floral sprays embellish velvet, silk and cotton in calming shades of sky gray, willow and chocolate ($20 to $45).

The Phillips Collection

Debuting for The Phillips Collection this market is the Sea Urchin Collection of sculptural pieces ($500 to $600). Originally a series of ocean-inspired forms interpreted in woven abaca, the collection has now added an illuminated sculpture that serves as a floor lamp. Another sculptural piece derived from nature is the Origins Cava table, a semicircular piece made from the shell of a fallen tree ($1,500).

Pathway of Life III, an original art triptych, depicts continuity in the abstract. Designed by Warren Knapp, the contemporary design is in acrylic on wood ($1,800, set of three).

The Platt Collection

Inlaid amber and silver cast glass panels add a striking element to the distressed Matte Black and Gold Rain finish of a pair of delicate, hand-wrought iron nesting tables from The Platt Collection. Miniscule, multicolored bits of eggshell form the intricate design on an antique silver leaf box. Also new from the company, a set of three contemporary, hand-blown, emerald glass vases display an irregular circle motif.

Robert M. Weiss Presents

Incorporating a reverse glass painting technique, the 31-inch long votive runner from Robert M. Weiss lends an enchanting glow and an air of exoticism to mantles and tabletops ($200).

Roma Moulding

Roma Moulding's zen-inspired Thai Exotica I, which fuses delicately aged olive veneer with the texture of exotic foliage, is the picture of quiet contemplation. Embodying the mysterious aspect of nature, Corner Fence captures a tree lined fence post receding into the distance in black and white ($219).

Saro Trading

In a soothing icy blue and taupe hand-screened damask, Saro Trading's Imperial bedding set is a dream come true ($18 to $320). Featuring a flocked brocade motif on poly taffeta, the company's Classic Damask Collection of table toppers and runners is available in burgundy, champagne, gray and olive ($19 to $33).

Square Nest

Debuting this season for Square Nest's Timeless Traditions Collection is a single drawer transitional console table made of sheesham wood ($170). Other introductions include a Charmed by the Sea seagrass-covered ottoman ($60).

Tag

Stark white leaf designs stand out against vibrant glazed ironstone appetizer plates from Tag's Autumn Collection ($32, set of four). Continuing the foliage theme, the company introduces a collection of rust and olive hued Autumn Mosaic Hurricanes available in two sizes (small, $8; large, $26).

Terranova

Gardenia, the newest fragrance from Terranova, captures the rich, intoxicating aroma of the tropical flower. The company also adds organic hand washes to seven of its best selling collections, including Organic Oasis, Rain, Shea Butter, Sakura & Green Tea, Pikake, White Ginger and Tuberose.

Thumprints

Thumprints introduces its Garbanzo Collection of hand-blown glass lighting fixtures. Available in four styles — a floor torchiere, table torcheire, pendant and uplight — the fixtures come in the hand-painted, antiqued crackle finish shown here, as well as an abstract Whimsy coloration of gold, silver and red.

Uttermost

Frameless hand-painted oils lead the lineup of Uttermost's new designs, spotlighting elaborate architectural motifs on each ($291). A silver leafed frame with a gray glaze surrounds an idyllic river scene in oil ($447). Additional introductions include a heavily antiqued gold leaf mirror with ornate embellishment ($1,197) and a rattan-framed, beveled mirror with lightly distressed mahogany finish ($537).

Vintage Verandah

Inspired by diverse lifestyles from the classic Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island, Mich., to a 14th century English country manor, the new licensed Jane Seymour Home Collection from Vintage Verandah showcases a wide selection of styles. The Owen candleholder set, part of the Grand Hotel Collection, tops cubist bases with mirrored star icons ($225, set of three), while the urn-shaped Chloe table lamp features flowing metal leaves, butterflies and clear glass prism accents ($260). The St. Catherine's Court Collection includes the Somerset Fleur table lamp, finished in antique gold with a seeded silk oval bell shade ($180).

W.A.C. Lighting

Blending vibrant colors with graceful contours, W.A.C. Lighting unveils the Niagara series of Italian blown-glass Quick Connect pendants. Offered in two colorful, fluid designs, Niagara pendants are noted for the bell shape and delicate border that simulates water droplets. Blue and purple, the two styles, feature brushstroke splashes of color by glass artisans.

Westinghouse Lighting

Westinghouse presents decorative two-piece medallions this season. The two-piece design is attached around fixture canopies that are already in place and are offered in classic and ornate designs and in 16-inch and 19-inch circular styles.
