Lane Harvey Brown has joined Home Accents Today as managing editor.

Brown has two decades of experience in newspapers. She worked most recently for The Baltimore Sun, where she was a news reporter and editorial page production editor. She worked as a features copy editor, restaurant reviewer and page designer at The Chicago Sun-Times. Brown served as features editor of the Northwest Indiana Times and was a news and features copy editor at the Greensboro News & Record.

Her travel and lifestyle articles have appeared in several publications, including Our State and AAA Living magazines. Brown has a degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Brown will manage the magazine's business coverage and Internet newsletters, as well as day-to-day operations of the magazine.
