The Martha Stewart Lighting Collection from Murray Feiss made its debut at the Dallas market last month.
Ten portable lamp groups debuted at the show, comprising 48 SKUs of table lamps, floor lamps, sconces and torchieres. An extensive hardwire fixture line will be introduced in spring 2008.
The products are inspired by Martha Stewart's favorite antiques, in styles from transitional to contemporary. The lamps will retail for $179 to $799.
"Martha Stewart has an incomparable aesthetic sense, and it shows in our fantastic new lighting products," said Murray Feiss. "Working together, we have combined her design expertise with the quality and craftsmanship for which our company is known to create a line with a beautiful range of styles."
The collections are pared-down, uncomplicated styles, made of material such as ceramic, silvered glass, alabaster, Venetian glass, lacquered wood and limed oak.
"A home is not complete without elegant and thoughtfully designed lighting," said Gale Towey, chief creative officer of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. "The assortment is as beautiful as it is timeless. Whether their decorating style is classic or modern, customers will be able to find a lamp, sconce or torchiere that will perfectly suit their home."
"Martha Stewart Lighting is an important addition to our merchandising portfolio, allowing us to further extend our brand with a growing rich assortment of home decorating products," said Robin Marino, president of merchandising for MSLO.
The clean, uncomplicated design of this lamp is complemented by the use of natural alabaster on the base and finial.
