Permanent botanical vendor Natural Creations Inc. introduced a furniture care product package in Las Vegas that deviates from its greenery and florals but fills a void for some of its retailers.
The display rack is filled with items such as felt pads, casters, scratch remover and super sliders. The items are available through big box and home improvement centers already, but General Manager Brent LeMay said there is no reason for furniture stores to send customers to other retailers for this type of product.
"When we asked store salespersons about ways to protect furniture and flooring, we were told to go to home improvement stores," he said, prompting the marketing campaign for the effort, "Stop sending customers to other stores."
The care centers are available in floor and countertop models.
The company is also introducing its new Furniture Care Kit, a bulk supply of the same types of items to be used by stores to protect their samples.
