Williamsburg brand has announced a new licensing relationship with permanent botanical manufacturer Aldik. The first collection of Williamsburg accents by Aldik will launch at the Dallas and Atlanta gift markets in January 2008.
"The Williamsburg brand has a long and impressive history, and we look forward to developing product collections that reflect their rich design resources," said Aldik CEO Larry Gold.
Inspired by the natural holiday decorations seen throughout Colonial Williamsburg's Historic Area, Aldik has created a holiday collection featuring a complete line of elegant faux trim, including a lit Williamsburg Christmas tree, wreaths, garlands, topiaries and centerpieces.
The greenery line is also accented with fruit, ornaments and ribbons that draw from the designs of antique needlework patterns and embroidery in the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation collections.
The Aldik launch is part of the Williamsburg for All Seasons product rollout that will begin in January 2008, featuring new product for holiday, garden, and more. A second collection of spring-themed products will debut in June.
Williamsburg ended its longtime licensing deal with botanicals producer NDI earlier this year.
The new licensed Williamsburg Collection from Aldik will launch this winter with a focus on holiday styles, including this wreath design, laden with fruits, pinecones and berries.
