Sketchbook: Lilac
Tracy Bulla -- Home Accents Today, 10/1/2007

Lilac and lace, sunbursts and crests — all come straight from the heart of Versailles. Endowed with distinct grace, this grandeur-packed look courts the era of Marie Antoinette. Equally refined and outrageous, French influences this season are about fun, fashion and femininity. Gray and silver, as evidenced by the multiple mirrors on display, frolic next to shades of royal purple in a style extravaganza rivaling 18th century palace revelries.
