Bergdorf Goodman's first home decor catalog mailed in October to 75,000 Bergdorf customer-subscribers. The launch of the16-page Decorative Home, also available in stores, marks the company's first release of what will become an annual book devoted entirely to the retailer's high-end lifestyle offerings for home.
Nicholas Manville, vice president and divisional merchandise manager for Decorative Home, said the book provides an opportunity to show collections of the vintage and unique items that make up the floor's aesthetic core.
“Our Hotel Silver Collection and our Vintage Home Collection of decorative objects are both extraordinary,” Manville said. “We are also premiering several artists who we believe have a tremendous future — mineral sculptures by Eduardo Garza, silver and semi-precious table accessories by Tomasso Pestelli of Florence, and of course, the first home collection of interior designer Kelly Wearstler.” Wearstler is founder of the Los Angeles architectural interior design firm kwid and the author of Modern Glamour and Domicilium Decoratus.
Decorative Home's retail prices range from $20 for a Kim Seybert cocktail coaster to $14,000 for a Lalique Rinceaux mirror. The majority of items shown in the catalog are available online, with the exception of vintage, one-of-a-kind and custom pieces.
Bergdorf Goodman is part of the Neiman Marcus Group's retail and direct marketing segments. The direct marketing segment conducts print catalog and online operations under the Neiman Marcus, Horchow and Bergdorf Goodman brand names.
