New terms for ART leaders begin

Newly elected officers and board of directors members for the Accessories Resource Team, the decorative accessory industry association, began their two-year terms on Nov.1.
ART board members are required to attend three of four regularly scheduled board meetings per year and govern the operation of the association. These officers serve until Oct. 31, 2009:
Officers: president, Colleen Visage, Progress Lighting; executive vice president, Bill Fortson, BJ's Home Accents; secretary and treasurer, Steve Crowder, Decorize/Guildmaster.
Four new members were elected to the board: Carla Greenblatt, Havertys; Steve Papevies, Southern Accessories Today; Mark Phillips, The Phillips Collection; Laura Van Zeyl, Accessory Merchandising, Vance Publishing.
Returning board members:Kathy Bovey, AmericasMart; John Clements, BJ's Home Accents; Jack Fleischer, Hermitage Lighting Gallery; John Haste, Imax Corporation; Jane Kieke, Taylors on Ten; Kris Lindsey, Kinder Harris; Monica Loving, OneCoast; Mindy Lowack, Dallas Market Center; Terry Stewart, CBK; Boyd Tasker, Home Decor Buyer, Hoyt Publishing; past president, David Gebhart, Global Views.
