Willamsburg site focuses on corporate gifts
The home brand Williamsburg has announced its launch of a new business-to-business website offering exclusive gifts to corporate clients. The venture was initiated, in part, to support the large number of corporate guests at Colonial Williamsburg’s newly renovated Williamsburg Lodge and conference facility.
The new site, www.WilliamsburgBusinessGifts.com, provides an extensive online catalog of Williamsburg product appropriate for corporate gift giving. It offers busy meeting planners a tool for convenient shopping, as well as the opportunity to customize their product selection with engraving or embroidery, and select from numerous custom packaging options. The selection includes everything from Golden Horseshoe polo shirts and golf balls to engraved pewter Jefferson cups.
OneCoast, OverCoffee partner on catalog library
OneCoast has partnered with OverCoffee Productions, a Web design and integration firm, to offer its Catalog Library as an added-value resource to vendors and retailers.
“OneCoast’s 65,000 retailer customers enjoy the option of buying from us in whatever method they prefer, road, show, phone or Web,” says Ted Teele, CEO of OneCoast. “We continue to invest in all of these methods, including our onecoast.com online showroom. We believe that our vendors, using Catalog Library from OverCoffee, will be able to deliver better product information which will translate into a terrific online buying experience for our customers.”
Overcoffee’s Catalog Library serves as a secure, online catalog containing product descriptions, as well as high and low resolution images. It can be accessed by visiting CatalogLibrary.com. It is a free service to retailers and representatives.
Service demystifies site building
Creating a Web site is not easy for most gift retailers. A new service called WebSitesForRetailers.com helps retailers understand their options for creating Web sites that encourage customers to buy online and visit their walk-in stores.
Shirley George Frazier, author and gift industry expert, launched the site in October as an extension of her trade show seminars. “Retailers often tell me how difficult it is to find information to create an online store,” says Frazier. “They pay someone thousands of dollars to make a Web site and are not pleased with the results. This new site clarifies their choices in simple language so they save time, money, and aggravation.”
WebSitesForRetailers.com provides a five-step approach for developing an online store and explains options for opening a shop on eBay, Yahoo! and amazon.com. Retailers will also find tips for online marketing and links to retail support sites.
