OneCoast Southeast adds retailers, territory managers

OneCoast is expanding its home decor product offering to Southeastern retailers and has created a new home sales division with a total of 14 focused territory managers as part of the expansion.
OneCoast has added the following vendors in the Southeast: Napa Home & Garden, Willow Green, Deco Breeze, America Retold and Bodrum. In addition, OneCoast has added the following lifestyle lines: Andrews McMeel, Ahava and Uchi.
“OneCoast has employed a very strong field sales team in the Southeast for many years, but the team's focus has largely been centered on gift and lifestyle products,” said Ted Teele, CEO of OneCoast, which is the only national provider of sales and marketing services to vendors and retailers of home decor, gift and collegiate products. “Increasingly, our home vendor partners have encouraged us to sell their products to furnishings retailers and interior designers in the Southeast.”
With its expanded sales team, OneCoast Southeast will continue its sales approach of small territories and focused line packages. In addition, OneCoast has increased the size of its Atlanta showroom by more than 9,000 square feet to showcase its new home lines.
Monica Loving, OneCoast RVP, who manages both the Southeast and Southwest regions, has run “divisionalized” sales groups in the Southwest with considerable success.
“With a smaller group of vendors,” Loving said, “salespeople can focus on more specific types of retailers, enabling greater product knowledge and deeper sales penetration in targeted accounts.”
“We have worked with OneCoast in several regions in recent years,” said Jerry Cunningham, CEO of Napa Home & Garden. “And when the Southeast became a region where we wanted to make a sales team change, OneCoast was the obvious candidate. We think their model of a small number of vendors and limited territories is a great fit for us and our retailers.”
