Willamsburg licensees plan major launches

-- Home Accents Today, 1/1/2008

Williamsburg For All Seasons licensees will debut extensive new lines at the January 2008 Atlanta and Dallas markets, marking the biggest launch of new designs in the history of the license.

Twenty-two Williamsburg licensees hold permanent showroom space in AmericasMart and the Dallas Market Center. Sixteen of those are adding to their Williamsburg lines this season.

The product introductions will focus on holiday and garden themes.

The six biggest launches are Aldik, C&F, Troy/Hudson Valley Lighting, Campania, Reed & Barton and SPI-Home.

Atlanta marks the official launch of the new relationship between Aldik and Wiliamsburg. The cooperation will shift the holiday focus away from traditional reds and greens toward more natural greens and oranges.

Williamsburg and Campania have together created a collection of garden accessories inspired by the rich design resources of the town's gardens and archives. The collection features a broad range of garden containers including cast stone copies of dramatic urns in the gardens of the prestigious Governor's Palace.

SPI-Home is expanding its line of metal garden accessories with 36 new sculpture and giftware items. Other debuts include tabletop, outdoor lighting and textiles.
