Deen, Kaleen sign license

Rug manufacturer Kaleen has signed Paula Deen, the Food Channel host, to design three new collections to be launched in January 2008 at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market at AmericasMart.
“Paula is a perfect fit for Kaleen,” said Joe Barkley, executive vice president. “She represents gentle charm and elegance while personifying comfort and family. Deen will be in Atlanta to mark the debut of the new collections at an event in the Kaleen showroom, 3-C-9, at 5 p.m. on Jan. 17.
