Form Above All
Moserform, a new division of Thomas Moser, introduces the Sabina Collection. Incorporating the traditional craftsmanship associated with Thomas Moser, the new line will be sold exclusively to licensed design professionals through luxury showrooms nationwide. The premiere 15-piece collection draws on worldwide journeys, ancient art forms and colloquial crafts to purely elegant results.
Posh Pillows

The high-end Marlo Lorenz Collection of lavishly adorned pillows marries style and luxury with opulent materials. Inspired by old Hollywood movie stars, the Legendary group includes velvet, silk, cashmere and leather in a variety of glamour-filled designs. Brilliantly colored beads, stones, bone and natural materials highlight the upscale coastal-themed 5-Star Collection, which debuted last summer. Coming in early 2008, Safari is influenced by global events and will spotlight exotic prints and safari animals.
Through the Looking Glass
Brunschwig & Fils will distribute hand-carved mirrors, furniture and accessories from London-based English Looking Glasses, known for adaptations of British 18th and 19th century antiques. Drawing on names such as Thomas Chippendale, Robert Adam and George Hepplewhite for inspiration, English Looking Glasses has employed original techniques to create authenticity that also withstands the demands of modern lifestyles. Additionally, the company offers a bespoke service.
Artsy-Crafty

The Living Room, currently running at Portland’s Museum of Contemporary Craft through March 23, spotlights the current cultural trend to eclectically mix vintage finds, modern classics and fine craft in the 21st century home. Objects will be periodically rotated throughout the duration to highlight different relationships, as well as the resurgent interest in mid-century modern design, ornamentation and eco-consciousness. Shown are Remoulade by Jack Lenor Larsen (1954) and Blue Bowl by Laura Andreson (1981), both from the Collection of the Museum of Contemporary Craft.
