Profit Systems Inc. Acquires EasyChair Software

Profit Systems Inc., a retail management and accounting software provider for the furniture industry, has acquired EasyChair Software, a competing firm.

EasyChair is located in Minneapolis, Minn. and has been in business since 1986. Profit Systems Inc. is based in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The new entity is poised to improve customer service levels for all clients and to reduce operating costs while growing sales.  “Nothing is more important to us or more valuable to our continued success than the strong relationship we have with our customers,” said Profit Systems Inc. President Jeff Niskern. “This transaction will give our clients, old and new, even better technology and service to help them make money.”

Profit Systems Inc.’s core product, PROFITprofessional, allows clients in the retail furniture industry to easily manage their accounting systems, financial reporting and planning, customer service, inventory, purchase orders, sales tickets and analysis, and other functions.

Profit Systems Inc. comprises six strategic business units dedicated to helping retailers make money. These business units include such tools as financial analysis, strategic planning, warehouse logistics, sales consulting, performance groups, advanced education, a group buying freight program as well a complete software package designed and created for the specific needs of the home goods industry.
