On Feb. 5, home decor vendor Creative Co-Op was victim to the wave of severe tornadoes that ravaged much of Tennessee, Arkansas and the rest of the Mid-South.
According to a press release from the company, its Memphis warehouse suffered a direct hit from a tornado with significant loss of inventory, but no one was injured during the storm.
The company says it is taking swift action to resume business as soon as possible. At press time, company officials were anticipating having phone service restored shortly, then the company planned to begin contacting customers and sales reps regarding the status of their orders.
Home decor orders will resume partial shipping within weeks and will resume at full capacity within 75 to 90 days. Christmas orders will not be affected in any way.
According to the release, “Creative Co-Op assures you that we remain dedicated to servicing our customers and being the most trusted source within the home decor industry. Although our facilities have been damaged, we still retain the heart and soul of our business: our people, our product and most importantly our customers. We are looking forward to the task ahead and are most definitely up for the challenge.”
