Couristan adds Western regional manager

Couristan has named Ron Elliott as its Western regional manager.
In this newly created position, Elliott will oversee the growth and development of residential broadloom and area rug accounts west of the Mississippi. Reporting to Chairman George Couri and President Ron Couri, Elliott will direct a team of residential territory managers across more than 25 states.
“The addition of Ron Elliott to our sales management team, coupled with the innovative product development that is well under way, positions Couristan's Residential Division for continued growth in 2008,” said Ron Couri. “I'm confident that with his leadership in the Western Region we can continue our sales growth in a challenging marketplace and achieve our strategic goals on a nation-wide basis.”
A veteran sales executive, Elliott has more than 20 years of experience. Most recently, he was national sales manager for Tufenkian Artisan Carpets.
