Wertheimer named president of Phoenix Art

-- Home Accents Today, 3/1/2008

Alan Wertheimer has been promoted to president of China-based home furnishings manufacturer Phoenix Art Company.

He was previously vice president of international sales.

“After two years with our company, moving Alan up internally seemed to be the right move for us at this time,” said chairman and founder Michael Kraft. “He has brought in millions of dollars of new business and added some of the most important names in the home furnishings market to our client base.”

In another move, senior merchandise manager Michael Berzenye has been named vice president of international sales and will directly assist Wertheimer in achieving the company goal of growth through global association.

Wertheimer will remain based in New York and Berzenye in California.
