Corvallis, Ore.-based Compass Home has acquired decorative accessory producer Clay, Metal & Stone.
According to a press release from Compass, “The tactile, textural and fashion forward accessories, furniture, lamps and wall decor of Compass Home combined with the imaginative, inspiring and well valued products of Clay, Metal & Stone will be offer an incredible breadth of product and selection.”
Joel Cortright, who founded Compass Home in 1999, will continue as president and CEO. Bob Levin, founder and CEO of Clay, Metal & Stone, will participate in product development, overseas logistics, key account sales and development and continue on to ensure a seamless transition.
As part of the acquisition, several changes have been implemented: All orders will be shipped from Corvallis, Ore; Inventory levels are being increased to achieve 80% to 90% fill rates and a comprehensive marketing campaign is under way.
