Carolyn Kinder to license designs with Imax

Imax Corporation has signed a licensing agreement with renowned designer Carolyn Kinder of Carolyn Kinder International.

The line will include holiday, garden, accent furniture, wall decor and accessories and will debut in Imax showrooms this summer.

John Haste, vice president of sales for Imax, said he is certain about the success of the newly formed partnership. “We are extremely excited to be able to collaborate with such a great talent — Carolyn Kinder not only brings style and design to the table, but a wealth of industry knowledge and business expertise that is second to none,” he said.

With more than three decades of experience in the home furnishings business, Kinder travels the globe discovering and developing sources that deliver new looks, rich textures, layered finishes and unique raw materials, all refined into her signature look. She currently designs coordinated accessories, lighting, wall decor and molding under licensing agreements with Uttermost and Austin, among others.

Carolyn Kinder
