What retailers are saying

Licensed products remain a popular choice at retail.

-- Home Accents Today, 5/1/2008

Licensed products remain a popular choice at retail, according to retailers who answered our online survey this month. Retailers say they tend to buy licensed items if the look works for them and their stores. Only 15% said their customers ask for licensed items, and 21% said licensed products bring customers in the door. Most of our respondents, 68%, said they have no plans to change their licensed product mix in the next year, with 50% saying the items made up 10% or less of their product mix.
