Furniture Classics Limited, parent company of the Furniture Classics and Two Palms Casual brands, will expand its permanent showrooms in Atlanta and Las Vegas this summer.
This increased presence follows the relocation and expansion of the company's Showplace venue in High Point in the spring.
“High Point Market was extremely gratifying,” said Michael Ricks, president. “Our sales were up substantially, well exceeding any other past market and sales per square foot were astronomical. To post a record market in a down economy has given us incentive to push forward.”
The Atlanta showroom in Americasmart Building 1 double in size to more than 6,000 square feet. Additionally, the World Market Center location will also expand to more than 5,000 square feet.
“This was a perfect opportunity to take advantage of our market momentum and our excellent relationships with Americasmart and World Market Center,” said Doug Ricks, founder and CEO, “We are able to expand our presence and minimize the impact of investments when most competitors are cutting back.”
“We feel that it's a combination of factors fueling our positive trend,” said Michael Ricks, “A product mix of the proven and fresh that is priced for retail turns and margin and backed by improved delivery time and customer service. We simply continue to perfect what we do and have substantially increased our investment in inventory.”
