What retailers are saying

What retailers are saying

-- Home Accents Today, 6/1/2008

In an online survey of retailers who carry wall decor, conducted in May and early June at HomeAccents Today.com, 67% of our respondents said accent furniture represented 30% or less of their sales. The biggest complaints about selling wall décor are glass breakage, the difficulty of hanging pieces and not having enough wall space. Our respondents were 10% furniture stores, 56% home accent/gift stores and 12% interior designers, with the rest representing department stores, mass merchants, direct-to-consumer and other channels.
