In an online survey of retailers who carry lamps and lighting, conducted in June at HomeAccentsToday.com, 55% of our respondents said lamps and lighting make up 20% to 30% of their merchandise mix. Not surprisingly, the biggest complaints about selling lamps and lighting are that they can be difficult to display lit due to space, electrical and heat problems.
