Lazy Susan opens its first Atlanta showroom
Lazy Susan USA, the home decor company of Japanese origin, is opening its first permanent Atlanta showroom in space GM 901B to showcase it selection of lifestyle accessories. 

A ribbon-cutting and grand opening party are set to celebrate the occasion. The festivities will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 11, and all buyers are invited to enjoy music, hors d’oeuvres, and an internationally famous “Lazy Susan Mojito Loco.” The new Atlanta showroom will feature hundreds of new products, all designed with Lazy Susan’s signature sophisticated and elegant approach to the needs and lifestyle of today’s home.

Milani Home joins Christian Mosso
Milani Home recently partnered with Christian Mosso & Associates and is now represented by the Atlanta-based group.

“CMA has an impeccable reputation in the industry and their extensive knowledge of tableware makes them an ideal match for Milani Home,” said Tammy Milani, owner and designer.

“With their sales focus on high-end gifts, home accents and specialty items, CMA’s target market is not only well-suited to our aesthetics and price points, but also offers us access to the coveted bridal market that is a very important audience for us.”

The line can be viewed in the CMA showroom, GM 1120.

Elvis has entered the Manual Woodworkers showroom 
Manual Woodworkers & Weavers Inc. has entered into a licensing agreement with Elvis Presley Enterprises Inc. to produce a collection of Elvis-inspired home decor. The rock’n’roll icon’s image will appear on a number of decorative and practical products for the home, including fiber-optic tapestry wall hangings. The fiber optic wall-hanging contains lights that constantly move and change, highlighting the exuberance for which Elvis is well known. Other new products include furniture covers and bedding. 

All of Manual Woodworkers & Weavers lines, including the new licensed Elvis Presley line can be seen in showroom 1601 of the Gift Mart.


Mustardseed & Moonshine moves to a new showroom
Mustardseed & Moonshine, known for it beautiful, delicate and botanically correct porcelain tabletop line, has moved to the Bray Farmer showroom, GM 900. Bray-Farmer will represent the company’s line in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

AmericasMart goes green with product showcase, seminars
Retailers will discover a “green” AmericasMart Atlanta as it spotlights eco-friendly product and features environmentally friendly educational programs during this week’s Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market. 

The Green Product Showcase will feature a juried collection of nearly 250 environmentally friendly products supplied by more than 125 AmericasMart exhibitors. Located in Building 2 (Floor 11, space 1140) the showcase is staged to spotlight green product in one comprehensive location and will be open for retailers’ viewing during market. This year, AmericasMart will honor the most innovative eco-friendly product in the showcase with the “Sustainovation” Award — selected by a panel of independent judges. 

Additionally, AmericasMart will offer educational seminars to further expose retailers to the importance and how-to of going “green.” The program includes:
 
* Going Green 101
Retailers will learn how easy it is to become “green” with simple business changes, industry insight and ways to buy/sell eco-friendly product.
Presented by: Chris Bruning, vice president of Groovystuff, Inc. and Pat Bowling, vice president of American Home Furnishings Alliance.

Retailers will find out how easy it is to utilize green design without sacrificing high design. Using examples from the famed Eco-Manor, this seminar will cover the latest in eco-luxury for both indoors and out, plus designer tricks, product resources and more. 

Presented by: Laura Seydel Turner, daughter of CNN founder and philanthropist Ted Turner and co-founder of the Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper fun; Jillian Pritchard Cooke, interior designer; and Ed Castro, landscape designer.
