Twelve handcrafted glass companies from Romania, under the auspices of the Romanian Ministry of Trade, will make their San Francisco International Gift Fair debut this summer.
Exhibiting within the fair’s juried Handmade division, the Romanian National Pavilion will feature quality producers of glassware, glass and crystal containers, decorative accessories and art glass products including vases, lamps, tableware and kitchenware.
“We are confident that the Romanian glass companies participating in the prestigious San Francisco International Gift Fair will benefit fully from this opportunity, gaining visibility in the market with positive business results,” said Costin Lianu, general director, Romanian Ministry of Trade.
A series of six complimentary seminars presented by small business strategists at the gift fair will teach independent retailers how to target new customers and maximize sales by addressing such topics as merchandising, marketing, sustainability and color and trend directions. All of the programs will be held on the stage in the rear of South Hall.
“We are delighted to offer attendees a vibrant and valuable slate of programs that will keep their stores on the cutting edge of retail,” said Aubin Wilson, show manager. “Focusing on winning retail strategies and best practices will position retailers to compete in this demanding business environment.”
