Accessories Resource Team changes annual conference date
2009 conference to take place in May

The Accessories Resource Team announced that its annual education conference will be held May 28-31, 2009 at the Naples Grande Resort & Club in Naples, Fla., a change from its usual timing in August.
Among other changes and enhancements, the programming will begin mid-day on May 28, 2009, and the conference will include retail, manufacturer and sales representative round table discussions. A version of the 2008 conference’s successful retail merchandising and marketing exercise will also be repeated using several of the many home stores located in Naples.
According to a survey of past attendees, the August timing of the annual conference has become increasingly difficult to schedule between markets and holidays. Conference registration will begin during the winter market season.
