1 Exuding aromas of fall's crispy air, Voluspa's Winesap Apple Spice candle blends deep red apples, clove bud, cinnamon and a touch of vanilla. The hand-poured candle features festive olive green packaging with metallic gold accents ($29). Combining forest cypress, pine needles, pinecone seeds and a hint of sugary balsam, the Frost Pinecone scented candle from Voluspa is ready for winter ($29).
2 Packaged in a croc-patterned box with Old World graphics, the Black Forest candle from Archipelago unites soothing hints of Ebony wood, black currant and Douglas fir in a dramatic black glass container ($29). Hand-poured into frosted glass, Archipelago's Green Fig candle emanates an intoxicating fragrance, packaged in a sophisticated slate gray box ($30).
3 A sweet marrying of warm caramel, buttery accords, vanilla and a hit of rum, the Eggnog Latte boxed glass candle is from Illume Candles' Winter Bliss Collection ($28). Red, green and gold foiled ornaments decorate the jovial packaging.
4 Crafted of cream-colored soy wax, the Amber Vanilla Hazelnut filled candle uses cheerful plum and creamy hazelnut essences blended with velvety touches of vanilla and amber from Chesapeake Bay Candle ($20). The packaging spotlights a silk-screened overlapping tree motif.
5 The Balsam Individual PetiteEssence room diffuser mingles the essence of sweet balsam with Californian redwood, hints of French sage and bouquets of white flowers, chicly packaged in a tangerine and olive box with grosgrain ribbon closure from Agraria ($40).
