Home furnishings manufacturer Howard Miller is extending its creative partnership with Ty Pennington and introducing 200 SKUs at the April High Point Market in the new Howard Miller Signature Home Furnishings by Ty Pennington collection.
According to Mark Siciliano, marketing director for Howard Miller Total Home, the new line allows Pennington “to use his design expertise and style advice to inspire, support and even educate consumers on how best to express their own personal style when decorating their home.” Specifically, the consumer will be able to personally pair and match furniture and accents while creating a home that looks as if it were professionally decorated. The furniture pairing system will be available in store at authorized Howard Miller dealers throughout the country and online. More than 200 individual pieces will formally launch at the High Point Market in April.
Pennington launched his television career as a carpenter on TLC’s Trading Spaces. In 2004, after four years on the remodeling show, he became the host of ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Pennington is a graphic design school graduate, author of several home design books and has a magazine called Ty Pennington at Home.
Headquartered in Zeeland, Mich., Howard Miller has been crafting home furnishings for more than 80 years. Its offerings include clocks, display cabinets, and wine and bar furnishings. The family-owned company employs more than 1,500 people at 11 manufacturing and distribution plants worldwide.
