WithIt offering two-way jobs bank
Includes free search and new Post a Profile feature

Women in the Home Furnishings Industry Today has added a Post a Profile feature at www.withit.org where any member can share a professional profile, or written snapshot of their expertise in home industries-related jobs in order to seek permanent employment, consulting jobs, new clients or supplemental income. Employers, which may list job openings in WithIt’s online jobs bank, are now able to view the member profiles at no charge.
Member profiles consist of short descriptions of skills and experience. Each includes job title, four areas of expertise selected from a drop down menu, and key word-enriched copy up to 2,000 characters in length.
Employers will search areas of interest by creating a login and using key words, a free service throughout 2009. All inquiries will be monitored by WithIt.
“As one of our industry’s most influential organizations, we endeavor to provide the best and most relevant services to our constituencies,” said Liz O’Brien, WithIt 2009 president. “Post a Profile can help to streamline the search process for prospective employers and is an added value benefit to our membership.”
