Artmax launches new online showroom

Artmax Inc., designer and manufacturer of distinctive furniture, lighting, wall décor, and accessories, has launched its new Web site, artmaxfurniture.com.
The new site allows Artmax and its customers to be more closely connected by regularly updating new products, promotions, and upcoming markets and events. Dealers can now view all of Artmax’s designs and place orders at the site once they have been approved to view the password-protected online showroom. A complete list of Artmax sales representatives across North and South America is available through a link on the site.
The company’s new Web site was created with a focus on a B2B model, and enables trade-only members to create an account which provides them access to the online showroom, net pricing and keeps their information stored for future orders.
Customers also have the ability to track the status of their orders. Ordering online is quicker and more efficient than ordering over the phone or at trade shows.
The site was designed by Eric Bauer Marketing, LLC, who also created the site for Artmax Inc.’s volume-oriented furniture division, Aura Designs www.aurabyartmax.com.
“Creating both websites for Artmax and Aura Designs allows us to update them simultaneously, keeping information consistent and up-to-date, however the day to day management of the site is competently handled internally by Artmax’s staff, ” Bauer said. “That is really the beauty of the backend software: with limited training we provide online, in no time our office serves only as a back-up for managing the company’s Web site(s).”
His company designs and manages Web sites for several other businesses in the home furnishings industry.
“Creating the Web site for Artmax was much more involved than for the Aura Designs division, simply based on the different product lines,” said Maria Chan, company vice president. “We also have additional needs for the Artmax Web site and have listened to our customers regarding what they want to be able to accomplish at our the Web site and we’ve implemented some really great new features that our customers will really like.”
One of the most important innovative features the new site offers is the ability for the retailer to allow limited access to the catalogs for their end-user customers through a separate login that does not show any net pricing.
