Seven-piece upholstery group set to launch

Rustic style case goods and upholstery specialist Shadow Mountain is launching an upholstery group designed by Catherine Smoak, owner of furniture design and creative services firm Jigsaw Solutions.

The group, to debut at the High Point Market, has seven SKUs including four chairs, two sofas and a sectional. The chairs and sofas are all-leather or leather and fabric, and the sectional is leather and fabric.

One of the two sofas has an estimated retail of $2,999.

"As a designer with upholstery merchandising and decorative accessory experience, Catherine is an ideal partner for Shadow Mountain," Shadow Mountain President and CEO Chad Turney said.

Smoak has helped Shadow Mountain in developing and marketing the product. The company said that in the future, more upholstery along and a number of decorative accessories will be added to the line.

In High Point, Shadow Mountain shows in Market Square, space 309.
