Several buying groups will be in attendance at the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, June 24-30, including Purchasing Power Plus and Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals, both national hospital gift store buying groups, and craft/gift buyers Southwest Buying Group, Sierra Pacific Coach House and Catalog Network.
The June Total Home & Gift Market offers more than 25,000 lines of gift products, decorative accessories, lighting, floral, gourmet, furniture, toys and seasonal items, and is held simultaneously with the Dallas Holiday & Home Expo (June 24-30), International Lighting Market (June 25-28) and the FINDS Temp Show (June 26-29).
Buyers and exhibitors who book through the Dallas Market Center’s in-house travel agency by June 8, 2009, will have access to specially negotiated room rates at 24 hotel properties ranging in price from $99 to $214 a night, the lowest rates in five years.
“We want to offer our customers the best return on their investment and to reinforce that Dallas is the best travel value,” said Jane R. Robertson, executive vice president of marketing for the DMC. “We know that buyers and exhibitors are looking for ways to stretch their dollars in today’s economic climate. To that end, we have partnered with the city’s hotels to reserve blocks of rooms at the best possible rates.”
Attendees may contact the DMC’s in-house travel agency at 1-800-DAL-MKTS.
