C.R. Gibson moves to 18th floor in Atlanta

Leaves 15th floor, aligns itself with Onecoast location

-- Home Accents Today, 5/12/2009 8:44:00 AM

C.R. Gibson is moving its Atlanta showroom and the adjoining Iota showroom from the 15th floor of Americasmart's Gift Mart to the 18th floor in the same building.

The new showroom in suite number 1837 will open in time for the International Gift and Home Furnishings Market in July 2009.

“After 30 years on the 15th floor, this is a big change,” said Don French, president of C.R. Gibson. "But, when the opportunity to make the move to the 18th floor presented itself, we jumped at the chance.”

The move pushes C.R. Gibson close to Onecoast, which represents the line through its National Division.

“This change will allow us to service our customers more effectively with a location close to other lines represented by our sales team, the National Division of Onecoast," said Lisa DiCostanzo, vice president of sales for C.R. Gibson. "It is an exciting next step in evolving C.R. Gibson’s relationship with OneCoast, one that strengthens our ability to service customers as a team. We recognize that buyers are pressed for time at shows, and by making the move, we’ll be in a better position to make the best use of their valuable time.”

OneCoast also represents Iota, a stationery and gifting essentials company acquired by C.R. Gibson in 2008. Iota will maintain its dedicated space in the Onecoast showroom, suite 1800, directly across from C.R. Gibson’s new showroom.
