World Market Center CEO defends Las Vegas Market's status

Bob Maricich discusses progress in Greensboro News & Record

Furniture Today Staff -- Home Accents Today, 5/15/2009 9:32:00 AM

World Market Center President and CEO Bob Maricich defended the Las Vegas Market in a column published  in the Greensboro, N.C., News & Record, which had run a story on April 26 quoting sources as saying the Vegas show was "not faring so well."

Maricich said the Las Vegas Market's backers had invested more than $1 billion in the past five years and will continue expanding when home furnishings manufacturers "regain their financial footing."
