-- Home Accents Today, 5/15/2009 9:33:00 AM

Nonprofit professional trade association Gift and Home Trade Association is launching a new education e-seminar program, Standout and Be Successful, which will allow industry sales representatives to participate in a variety of education training programs via the Web.

Three topics from the GHTA's two-day education seminar, including "Manage Your Sales Calls," "Understand Your Buyer," and "Know Your Lines," will be a part of the online seminars, which are available to GHTA members and non-members beginning at $25/program. The programs are one hour long, are limited to 10 participants, and are applicable to both senior and junior-level sales reps.

"The success of the GHTA's two-day education seminar, which has been attended by more than 200 participants, has proved there's a strong need within our industry for good, solid sales training," said Ed Butler, co-owner of The Butler Group and a GHTA board member. "The GHTA's e-seminar program will allow sales reps from across the country to benefit from this training, ensuring all reps have the opportunity to increase their sales by implementing some of the program's greatest sales tools."

Clark Orlaska, the owner of Practical Sales, which offers sales management, training and educational solutions to increase sales success, and the seminars' facilitator, will lead the e-seminars.
