Jennifer Woolford moves to consumer shows role at MMPI

MMPI has named Jennifer Woolford senior vice president of consumer shows for MMPI, effective immediately.
In her new position, Woolford will oversee MMPI’s new Consumer Shows Department, which consists of the One of a Kind Shows in Chicago and New York, the Architectural Digest Home Design Show in New York, The Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair in Chicago, as well as the Community Affairs Department. Woolford will also focus on developing shopping events for art, craft and design expanding existing partnerships and creating marketing opportunities throughout the consumer shows division.
As the former senior vice president of MMPI’s Marketing Communications Department, Woolford oversaw the in-house advertising agency staff of 35 marketing professionals, a team that developed and implemented all advertising, graphic design, direct mail, e-marketing, list management, print communications, public relations and community affairs initiatives and campaigns for MMPI’s properties and shows in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Washington D.C., High Point, North Carolina and Toronto. Woolford also played an integral role in developing publication partnerships and sponsorships for more than 70 MMPI trade shows produced annually.
Woolford started her career at MMPI in 1992 as the managing director of marketing communications.

Therefore, she is the natural choice to oversee this new consumer shows department,” said Christopher Kennedy, president of MMPI. “Jennifer has the leadership, creativity and determination to guide our consumer shows through this next phase of growth.”
