Bill Carpenter joins Imax Corp. as vice president
Will direct business development for home furnishings importer

Industry veteran Bill Carpenter has joined home accents importer Imax Corp. as vice president of new business development, a new position.
Carpenter most recently worked for the World Market Center in Las Vegas in its key accounts department. He spent much of his 40-year industry career with Kincaid Furniture, leaving the company in 2002 as senior vice president of sales.
"We are very excited about Bill Carpenter joining us," said Imax President Al Bulak, adding that Carpenter is extremely qualified for the job and "will make a great addition to the Imax team."
Carpenter said he's happy to be with a company enjoying double-digit sales increases in this economy. He joked that "it's a miracle" to be working for a company located three miles from his house "because my office has always been 1,000 miles away."
