Maurice Levi and Alex Sorkina have been recently appointed by Francis Devineau to create and manage a U.S. subsidiary Les Provencales Ambiences of Devineau SAS, a French company originally established in 1803 as a candle manufacturing company and later acquired by the Devineau family in 1890.
In 1989, the company acquired Bougies La Francaise, one of the leading manufacturers of candles in France, and began focusing on the high-end market.
The fragrance lamps of Les Provencales Ambiences eliminate odors while also perfuming the air. The Anti-Smoke fragrance removes tobacco smoke and perfumes the air with a blend of tobacco spices, flowers, citrus and pine. The Neutral fragrance will remove odors without perfuming the air. Another fragrance, French Breakfast, will remove strong kitchen smells like those of cabbage or fish, and replace them with the scent of French croissants and other pastries.
Les Provencales Ambiences will be exhibiting in Atlanta International Gift and Furnishing Market in July 2009 and NY International Gift Fair in August 2009.
