GHTA to host hospitality suite and networking reception at AmericasMart in July
Seminars, association benefits and programs to be featured

The Gift and Home Trade Association invites all exhibitors and attendees to visit its hospitality suite at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, July 8-13, during show hours. A networking wine reception and happy hour for all industry participants will be held Friday, July 10, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the suite.
The suite, located in Building 2, 1238 A, will provide GHTA members and non-members with a look at the association's new benefits and initiatives. "Over the past year, the GHTA staff and member volunteers have worked tirelessly to expand GHTA benefits and programs," said Diane Carnevale Jones, executive director. "We invite the industry to visit our hospitality suite to view all of the exciting new benefits and to learn why it is important for each and every vendor, sales agency and rep, and other qualified industry friends to join the GHTA to work as one powerful and unified voice to improve the industry."
Information will be provided on the GHTA's new retailer web site, IndependentRetailer.biz, the Brandwise Gift and Home Index benchmarking tool, and the association's new education e-seminar sales training seminars. Attendees may enjoy lectures by leaders such as New York Times best-selling author, Keith McFarland, as well as educational and interactive breakout sessions and extensive networking opportunities.
Also featured, a look at the GHTA's work in public policy and how governmental relations are affecting companies within the gift and home industry, the GHTA's recent membership with the National Association of Manufacturers and information on GHTA's 2009 Conference, "Stampede to Excellence: Reining in the Wild Frontier of Our Changing Industry."
