Dallas Market Center names Freedom Gates The Next Big Thing

National product search winner announced

Dallas Market Center recently announced The Next Big Thing winner – Freedom Gates. The Next Big Thing is a national search for the best new products.

The winner was announced during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market on Saturday, June 27, and awarded a prize package worth more than $10,000 including exhibit space at the Total Home & Gift Market January 2010, a feature profile in one of Dallas Market Center’s award-winning publications, and consultations from leading industry experts regarding branding, public relations, visual merchandising and much more.

“Once again, all of our finalists presented great products,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center. “We are thrilled for Freedom Gates and look forward to working with Donna over the coming months and continuing our search for new and innovative products.”

Dallas Market Center will host the next contest during its Dallas Total Home & Gift Market in June 2010. Information on the contest is available at www.dallasmarketcenter.com.
Freedom Gates was selected from three contest finalists including BibBaby and EZ Off BBQ Tools. The finalists received airfare, hotel and exhibit space to show their products during the recent market in front of more than 50,000 attendees from all 50 states and 84 countries.

Freedom Gates, based in Edwardsville, Ill., is the first high-style pet gates that set dependable boundaries for your pet while enhancing your home’s interior with interchangeable art screens. The frameless gates are made of durable, clear, acrylic panels that feature a selection of unique designs that add a little chic decor to any room.

Donna Potter, founder of Freedom Gates, had just remodeled her home when her family decided to add a dog to their group. She didn’t want to sacrifice style by cluttering her home with dog accessories such as unsightly pet gates. Freedom Gates allow you to “love your home and your pet,” Potter said.
