Fall schedule includes two new topics

-- Home Accents Today, 8/25/2009 7:43:00 AM

The nonprofit Gift and Home Trade Association has set its fall education e-seminar schedule, Stand Out and Be Successful. Two new educational e-seminar topics, "Sales Call Problems" and "Retail Math," will be introduced to the program.

"We continue to see great success with our sales education programs," said Diane Carnevale Jones, executive director of the GHTA. "This spring, both GHTA members and non-members took advantage of the e-seminar program, benefiting from its affordable and convenient format. We have received great feedback from participants and trust that this seminar will continue to benefit attendees, ensuring they stand out amongst their peers."

Three topics from the GHTA's two-day education seminar, including "Manage Your Sales Calls," "Understand Your Buyer," and "Know Your Lines," will be a part of the online seminars, beginning at $30/program. The programs are an hour long, limited to 10 participants, applicable to both senior and junior-level sales reps and available to members and non-members of GHTA.

Two new topics will also be introduced. "Sales Call Problems" encourages attendees to discuss real-world solutions to real-world sales call problems, while "Retail Math" teaches attendees to use basic retail math to increase their confidence in analyzing their business for the retailer.

Clark Orlaska, the owner of Practical Sales, which offers sales management, training and educational solutions to increase sales success, will lead the e-seminars. Orlaska is both respected and admired within the industry for his insight into sales training and success.
GHTA E-Seminar Topics:
