Casual designs emerge as one of the season's top trends with natural materials like rattan, linen and wood carvings. Think laidback luxe that captures the breezy, informal spirit of outdoor entertaining but is equally at home inside. And while the feel-good factor can lull you into a mental comfort zone, there's absolutely no skimping on style.

Carved wood flourishes lend an exotic touch to Amita Trading's detailed table lamp.

Clean-lined and versatile, the linen-covered Loft sofa from Cisco Brothers exudes a laidback mentality ($4,800).
Tozai Home lends an artisan effect to simple two-toned bowls with all-over organic texture ($200 to $225 per set, food safe).

Palm leaves carved into tung wood reveal the natural grain within swaying fronds from Palecek ($298).

From Designer Wicker by Tribor, the Morocco console showcases rattan and hand-woven rattan peel in an overscale cane pattern ($395).

Arranged in an earthenware bowl, a dashing mix of sunflowers, lemons, yellow peppers and artichokes provokes an enchanting sense of optimism from Distinctive Designs ($199).
Lazy Susan crafts an arresting circular mirror from buffalo horn that is loaded with natural texture, part of the Bronze Age Collection ($414).

Two Palms Casual recreates an Italian loom weave pattern in the Wicker side table, offered in mahogany and ebony finishes ($245).

Bold bands of color widen and narrow at will in the hand-tufted and carved abstract rug from Foreign Accents, part of the Festival Collection.

Ample curves lend the Modern Wingback armchair from Domus stylized comfort, upholstered in an Italian-made cellulose textile and framed in wood and rattan ($995).
