Showplace Properties names director of leasing
Celeste Coker Payne joins Showplace management

Showplace Properties LLC, which owns the 310 N Hamilton/Hamilton Court building and The Resource Center at 329 South Wrenn St. has named industry veteran Celeste Coker Payne as the new director of leasing for these properties.
She will be responsible for all aspects of leasing available space in these buildings.
Payne has 23 years of industry experience with past employment in wholesale, retail and marketing in the home furnishings industry. She was with Baker Knapp & Tubbs for more than seven years, a former showroom manager for The John Widdicomb Company and most recently the education coordinator and marketing consultant with the IHFC. She also runs a private consulting firm and has produced designer seminars for major furniture manufacturers.
“We are delighted to have someone who knows this industry so well leading our leasing program,” according to a press statement from Showplace Properties. “Our buildings are strategically located in the center of the market district. We know Celeste will be successful in assisting not only our current tenants but also in marketing the opportunities that exist in these properties.”
“I see this as a natural evolution in my career and look forward to being back in the Hamilton Wrenn Design District, the true high end venue of the High Point Market and where my heart has always been,” Payne said.
