Art in Motion offering images to wholesalers
Paragon, Propac lines to debut in November

Paragon Picture Gallery and Propac Images will debut next month new products featuring images from art publisher Art In Motion.
Art In Motion announced late last week that North American framers, who service boutique independent retailers, will be able to purchase prints directly from the company.
“Our goal is to support our artists and market their talent to the broadest channels of distribution,” said Tara Fortunato, chief merchandising officer of ICA Home Decor, parent company to Art In Motion. “For almost 25 years Art In Motion has built its reputation as an artist’s company. This strategy allows us to focus on creating and distributing more images around the world, growing both our print and licensing businesses.”
Art In Motion will continue to sell directly to larger independent retailers but will not compete with their new partners at the boutique level. Larger independent retailers will be able to take advantage of Art In Motion’s customized in-house programs and manufacturing capabilities of ICA Home Decor.
Paragon and Propac will offer 300 Art In Motion top sellers and newly released images. “Our design teams have always admired their artwork, and as industry leaders in wall decor, we wanted to be in a position to quickly offer these great images to not only our customers, but to those retailers who have previously carried the Art In Motion framed line” said Lendell Glassco, Paragon president.
“Paragon and Propac are putting these images on a fast-track design process to offer these great products by Mid-November” said Vince Glassco, president of Propac. The newly designed product will be available to order online at www.paragonpg.com and www.propacimages.com on Nov. 16. The product will also be added to introductions slated to be displayed in Atlanta, Dallas and Las Vegas showrooms beginning in January.
ICA Home Decor and its brand of wall decor, Intercontinental Art, will continue to be the exclusive distributor of Art In Motion prints to national retailers in North America. “We will continue to work closely with our current publishing partners on developing collections for National Accounts and will be showing in Atlanta this January,” Fortunato said.
Art in Motion expects to announce further partnerships with other wall decor vendors in coming months, in order to offer a variety of looks and price points.
