Lazy Susan USA will donate a portion of its sales to DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS.
Lazy Susan will donate 20% of consumer sales year-round on select items to support DIFFA’s cause of fighting the devastating effects of HIV/AIDS through direct care for people living with HIV/AIDS and preventative education for those at risk. On World AIDS Day, Dec. 1, Lazy Susan will host a one-day event by donating 20% of sales on all items purchased on their consumer Web site, www.lazysusanusa.com.
“We are honored to be involved in a ground breaking opportunity to merge caring with commerce,” said David Moses, Lazy Susan CEO. “Dec. 1 will surely become a day where people can combine shopping for the holidays with the knowledge that a substantial portion of their purchase will go towards the fight to eradicate HIV/AIDS.”
“DIFFA is always seeking new and mutually beneficial partnerships in an effort to sustain our important mission,” said David Sheppard, executive director of DIFFA. “The relationship with Lazy Susan is a perfect example of what we call merging care with commerce; a true win-win."
