Big Fish adds new lines

Wall decor specialist Big Fish has partnered with Casey Collection, Evans Designs and Encore Art & Frame.
The companies are all exhibiting here together, in WMC A-417, and will continue to work together at upcoming markets. The sales teams for each company remain intact, but they are marketing themselves together at markets.
The companies are offering a special promotion each morning of market – 20% off between 9 a.m. and noon each day.
“We’re looking for synergies – we’re trying to package things together to become a one-stop shop for customers,” said Anthony Montenegro, CEO of Casey, Evans and Encore.
The three companies have a warehouse in San Diego, while Big Fish warehouses in Maryland, so the companies hope to merge those operations so they can each effectively serve both sides of the country.
Alan Spiegel, VP of sales and marketing, said the move would benefit buyers. “Buyers have to be a lot more productive,” he said. “Ultimately this is about making this easier on our customers. They can save on freight and add some new looks.”
Evans Designs produces hand-painted glass and metal tabletop accessories, while the Casey Collection specializes in indoor-outdoor architectural wall decor designs. Encore is a mirror specialist with more than 450 mirror designs in its line.
Big Fish continues to offer its full line, as well as the new Artistry Collection, a lineup of lower priced pieces.
“For us, it’s all about what (the new collections) are doing,” Spiegel said. “It gets us into decorative accessories and the products work really well together.”
