Getting a handle on the industry
Coming into this new position as assistant editor for Home Accents Today, I knew I would be getting to know lots about all sorts of different product categories, with a little more time spent on the rug side of the business. Prior to coming to work here, I knew very little about rugs. In the broadest strokes possible, my knowledge consisted of the following: Rug making is one of the world's oldest... More

Redecorate complete
It took me more than a year, but I have finally finished the redecoration of my bedroom.I found it oddly hard to do. Being exposed to so much product at markets and with our issues, it became very difficult for me to choose. State of the Art Library is Home to the Classics
Perched high above Lake Raleigh on the Centennial Campus of NCSU, the new James B. Hunt Jr. Library opened to students last month and I got to check it out this past weekend. Essentially a big shoebox of a building sexed up with interesting surface "fins" and huge swaths of glass, the new state of the art facility is still modern and impressive -- a nice sparkle in a sea of red bricks....
