Moth Design Rolls Out Motorcycle-Inspired Rickman Series

Moth Design, known for gorgeously organic lighting designs (their coral chandelier is one of my all-time favorites), has launched the Rickman Series of handmade tables draped in serious steel chains.
These edgy designs pay tribute to British motorcycle designers Derek and Don Rickman, who engineered lightweight, fast and sexy bikes beginning in the 1960’s.
Moth’s Principal Designer Shannon Shapiro said, “We like the idea of furniture that looks like heavy metal but is actually light and fast – or in this case, racy.”
Rickman designs come plated in brass, bronze or nickel; custom sizes and finishes are available. A lighting collection debuts next.
