Mike Farrell Colors Outside The Lines

December 30, 2008

The idea -- more color in the White House; the execution -- hundreds of crayons and paint chips.
Visual creativity is a continuum.
On one end are guys like me with some ability to puzzle-together supplied information, on the other (and much more interesting) are guys like Mike Farrell who created the piece above. I was introduced to Mike at a party a couple of weeks ago and after chatting about everything, including politics of course, he brought out his Blackberry to show me his crayon creation. Suspecting the 3x3 LED wasn’t doing it justice, I took a spin over to Grassy Knoll and shot this pic. The idea -- more color in the White House; the execution -- hundreds of crayons and paint chips. Sweet.

Ciao!
